| Our Jackson City Schools program, which The Mentoring Center helped local staff develop and implement “is absolutely a prescription we've needed for a long time. This allows us to connect with children who are ‘on the fence', and who could go either way. It's a powerful incentive. Students are careful not to have detention since that would get in the way of participating in the mentoring program.”
-Deborah Beggs, Principal, Westview Elementary, Jackson City Schools
“The Mentoring Center has had “key roles in the success of our programs” at six schools for over 130 students."
-John Magary, MS. LSW, Communities In Schools
“The Mentoring Center is making
a major contribution to the success of Project Mentor by training all new mentors. Your coaching
of skills in relationship building and working across cultures is helping create real impact!”
- Dr. Gene T. Harris, Superintendent, Columbus City Schools |
